HAVEL & HOLÁSEK – Overall Winner of the Czech “Law Firm of the Year 2009” Competition

Havel & Holásek has won three out of eleven categories in the Czech “Law Firm of the Year 2009” competition. The results were announced on November 9, 2009 at a gala ceremony in Prague by epravo.cz, the competition organizer, under the patronage of the Czech Bar Association and the Czech Ministry of Justice.

Havel & Holásek placed first in the following categories: Largest Law Firm, Telecommunications & Media, and Public Procurement. Havel & Holásek was also nominated as one of five recommended law firms in Mergers & Acquisitions and Restructuring & Insolvency. The competition was based on the assessment of an independent panel of evaluators, including representatives of leading local and international corporations, law firms and epravo.cz. Having won the most categories of any law firm, Havel & Holásek is a clear Czech market leader in 2009, confirms its position as the best independent Czech law firm and builds on this year’s top ranking from Practical Law Company for the Czech Republic.
