Nový termín Evropského hospodářského kongresu

Let us once more invite you to the Second European Economic Congress which will be held from 31 May to 2 June 2010 in Katowice. The original date of the congress in April was postponed due to the consequences of the Smolensk catastrophe and the national mourning.
We would like to remind you that this year's edition of the congress, the largest business event in our part of Europe, includes the analysis of the most important problems for the global economy, in particular, economic and civilisation challenges faced by Europe and Poland.
The new institutional order and priorities of the EU economic policy will be the topics to open the sessions. The fight with climate changes will be discussed by the participants in the aspect of their effects on the competitiveness of the economy and the technological progress.
Among numerous thematic paths there are several which are worth mentioning such as innovativeness and collaboration of science and industry, the creation of modern transport infrastructure and funding of investments. Moreover, the agenda includes social and economic topics, e.g. the pro-development role of local governments, investment attractiveness of regions or the functioning of European metropolises. 

We are sure that the participation in the sessions and events during the congress will be an interesting and inspiring experience for you. We hope the new date of the congress will be more convenient and allow you to come to Katowice.
